Emergency medical response

Every SCFD member is a certified Emergency Medical Technician. We respond alongside Georgetown-Scott County EMS to life-threatening medical emergencies, complete a thorough initial assessment, and provide immediate life-saving care.

Technical rescue

Specialized swift-water, rope, trench, confined-space, building-collapse, and large-animal rescue capabilities.

Hazardous materials response

Hazard identification, isolation, protective actions, and coordination with regional partners during chemical and hazardous-material emergencies.
