Call 911Recognize service that made a difference
Did an SCFD firefighter, crew, or department member provide exceptional service? We would be honored to hear about it—and to make sure your appreciation reaches the people who helped.
Send your thank-youHelp us recognize them
Our members often meet people during difficult, frightening, or deeply personal moments. Hearing that their patience, skill, compassion, or professionalism made a difference reinforces the purpose behind their service.
You do not need to know anyone’s name. A date, approximate time, location, apparatus number, or general description can help us identify the right crew.
What to include
A general time window is fine if you do not remember the exact time.
A street, business, neighborhood, or roadway may be enough. Please avoid unnecessary private details.
Include a name, station, apparatus number, or description if you happen to know it.
Tell us what the member or crew did and how their actions affected you or someone you care about.
Protect your privacy
Please do not include Social Security numbers, detailed medical information, full patient histories, or other sensitive personal information. If clarification is needed, department staff can contact you directly with your permission.
From all of us at SCFD
Every message of appreciation is a reminder that quiet acts of service matter. We will do our best to place your words in the hands of the people who earned them.
